“Black like the soil from which the lotus grows. Black like the soil of the subterranean depths from which it springs. Black like feeding life, and then black like a limiting border within the inner depth of you. Both your creative springs, and your curse.
And the red background is the blood of the suffering you must go through to make them meet.”
-Eve Norton

Liam Mojique Legault
Liam Mojique Renner was born in Vancouver, B.C., Canada in 1982. His geometrical and abstract vision is accentuated through his bold colour choices. His art has texture that invites touch and brush strokes that invigorate soul–his energy brings street art to the canvas.
“There is a certain power you harness when you create. When your creativity encompasses your passion and emotion you can make beautiful things. Simply being aware that colour can change someone's mood without a single word being said... makes art larger than all of us. I believe we must create freely with that in mind.
Being a self- taught artist who is in constant search of discovery, personal growth, and knowledge for the arts , his development is evident with each piece of new work. Liam transforms the inspiration of life from personal experience, to colour and passion with his brushwork .
