Mixed Media + Limestone (nfs)
“This is inspired by power of simplicity, the texture and grit of the richness of culture, and warrior spirit of Africa.
In this painting there is a warrior. The face is pale to accent the lips. The lips are textured and dry, cracking yet bold. The beard is black as night. The white drips of the paint on top of the dominantly white back drop bring out the eyes and nose of the right side of the face. In the background there is a yellow sunset, there is heat. Beside the lips the colours of flora and fauna are patient and not seeking spotlight.
This warrior is pure and powerful, fight is for family and survival, vision is against the sunset and stays focused on protection of the land.

“There is a certain power you harness when you create. When your creativity encompasses your passion and emotion you can make beautiful things. Simply being aware that colour can change someone's mood without a single word being said... makes art larger than all of us. I believe we must create freely with that in mind.
Being a self- taught artist who is in constant search of discovery, personal growth, and knowledge for the arts , his development is evident with each piece of new work. Liam transforms the inspiration of life from personal experience, to colour and passion with his brushwork .
